What is fear? What can we do?
Fear originally is an instinctive emotional state that signals our life may be in danger. This state triggers physiological reactions that facilitate a flight reaction in the face of danger. When there is no real danger, the emotion indicates a threat to our safety or to our psychological or emotional equilibrium.
To be courageous means to listen to the information our alarm signals are passing on to us, to look “danger” in the eye, to evaluate the situation and act accordingly. SuperCortex helps us hear the message behind the fear, and helps calm us down.
You’re now ready to watch the second video clip of the Learn to be zen @ school programme. Enjoy your viewing!
When you show it to your students, we suggest you show it to them once in full to collect their initial reactions. Then you can watch it again bit by bit in order to go into more detail and gain more educational value.
